Who we are
RXA is an independent culture publication covering music, film, media, street culture, drugs, and sex.
The publication is operated by The RXA Corporation, based in Los Angeles, California.
Who writes RXA
Our reporting and commentary is written and edited by N. Fontaine, a writer and editor at RXA covering music, culture, media, and systemic power.
Every article published on RXA carries a clear byline and a publication date.
How we report
We aim to be accurate and fair in all our coverage. We verify claims against primary sources, public records, official documents, and firsthand accounts whenever possible.
We attribute quotes and factual assertions directly to their sources, and we state plainly when information is unconfirmed or developing.
We do not publish fabricated quotes, invented sources, or manipulated imagery presented as authentic documentary reality.
Reporting vs. opinion
News, investigative reporting, and documentary features are strictly separated from cultural criticism, commentary, and opinion essays.
Commentary and critique reflect the perspectives and analysis of the individual author and are framed and presented as such.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and transparently.
Send correction requests directly to [email protected] or submit them through our Contact page.
Substantive factual corrections are documented with an editor's note appended directly to the revised article.
Sensitive subjects: drugs and sex
We examine drugs, nightlife, intimacy, and human sexuality through the lens of cultural history, public health, and investigative reporting.
We do not sell, promote, broker, or facilitate illicit drugs or commercial sexual services.
We under no circumstances publish material that sexualizes minors, facilitates exploitation, or provides actionable instructions for self-harm or harm to others.
Advertising and independence
Advertising and commercial partnerships are kept separate from our editorial coverage.
Advertisements appear exclusively as labeled, visibly distinct banner units and never dictate, restrict, or influence what subjects we investigate or how we report them.
Images and sources
We credit photographers, visual artists, and archival sources and respect intellectual property rights.
If you believe your copyrighted visual or written work has been published without authorization, submit an inquiry through our Contact page selecting Legal / Copyright.
